Designed for NBA player, JR Smith and his annual charity golf event, this logo simply tries to merge both of it’s core elements into one attractive mark. Weary of creating something that looks slightly stock - in the likes of a basketball on a tee - this symbol combines the two sports in a more literal sense, organically slicing a basketball in half and creating a putting green from the flat segment. The font displaying the name of the event is bulky and athletic but maintains its etiquette - for it is a gentleman’s game after all.
